2. Information kept on your device
The app stores your notes, favorites, progress and preferences locally to provide its features. It also keeps a random local identifier for daily passage selection and a record of the terms accepted. No user account is required. We do not automatically upload your notes or reading history to our servers or provide them to advertising services.
3. Advertising and information processed by Google
The app may show non-personalized ads through Google AdMob. They are not selected using a personal interests profile, but the advertising service can process IP addresses, device or advertising identifiers, approximate location inferred from the IP address, app and ad interactions and diagnostic information. This supports ad delivery, measurement and fraud prevention. Google and the advertising partners involved in delivery or measurement may process that data under their own policies. The app consent form shows the partners and their declared purposes. We do not use your notes, reading history or religious reflections to target ads. 4. Support by email
If you contact firelionsoftware@gmail.com, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send to handle your request and related legal obligations. The mailbox uses Google Gmail. The app does not automatically add notes, reading history or device data to the email. Do not send passwords, identity documents or sensitive information unless necessary and requested through an appropriate process.
5. Consent and legal grounds
In Colombia, personal data processing requires prior informed authorization unless a statutory exception applies. Required advertising consents will be requested before the relevant processing; accepting the terms is not a substitute. In jurisdictions that allow it, handling a support request may rely on providing the requested service, and mandatory retention on the relevant legal obligation. You have the right to refuse or withdraw optional consent without losing access to Bible reading or affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. 6. Sharing and local security
Sharing sends the selected text or image to the destination app, whose privacy practices then apply. Notifications may display a passage on the lock screen; you can control permission and visibility in your phone settings. Local content depends on device security and system backups. The app does not add a separate encryption layer to that storage.
7. Retention and deletion
Local content remains until you remove it or clear app storage, subject to system backups or shared copies. Temporary images may remain in the cache until cleared. Correspondence is kept while handling the request and for as long as necessary to meet legal obligations or address related liabilities. Advertising services apply the retention periods in their policies. You may request deletion of information we hold using the contact above.
8. Recipients and international processing
Google and the email providers involved in your correspondence may process information outside your country, including outside Colombia. We do not sell your notes or disclose them to advertisers. International transfers are subject to any authorization or safeguards required by applicable law. You may request information about the relevant recipients, countries and safeguards at firelionsoftware@gmail.com.
9. Your rights
You may request free access, updating, correction or deletion of your data, information on its use, proof of authorization where required, and withdrawal of consent, subject to applicable legal requirements. Rights of objection, restriction or portability may apply in your jurisdiction. Write to firelionsoftware@gmail.com, describing your request and providing only what is necessary to locate the information and establish your entitlement. In Colombia, consultations are answered within ten business days of receipt; complete claims within fifteen business days starting the day after receipt. If an extension is needed, we will notify you before the deadline of the reason and response date: at most five additional business days for consultations and eight for claims. If a claim is incomplete, we will request completion within five days of receipt; if the requested information is not provided within two months of that request, the claim will be considered withdrawn. You may complain to the SIC after completing required prior steps, or to another competent authority where applicable. We cannot remotely access notes held only on your phone.
10. Children and adolescents
The app is not directed to people under 18. If you believe we have received a minor’s personal data, contact firelionsoftware@gmail.com so we can investigate and take appropriate measures, including deletion where required. This audience declaration does not authorize processing children’s data or replace applicable protections.
11. Updates
